For homes where the gutter is part of the architecture, and Long Beach's craftsman streets and the Spanish revivals of Santa Ana and Fullerton have many. Copper starts bright, turns brown within a season and settles into a green patina over the years, sooner near the water, and it lasts for decades without a coating. Seamless gutter installation, against sectional.
A sectional gutter is lengths joined with slip connectors every few feet, and every one of those joints is sealed with a bead that fails a few winters in. A seamless gutter is one continuous run, so the only joints are at the corners.
We roll the gutter at your home from a coil, hang it on hidden hangers, and place the downspouts where the water should go: away from the foundation and the entry, onto a splash block or into a drain, and on a slope, away from the slope.

Because the rain comes in a few big storms a winter, and an atmospheric river can put three inches on a roof in a day. Off an eave with no gutter that water lands on the slab, the footings and the front step, and on a hillside lot it takes the soil with it. Gutters carry it to a downspout and away from the house.
The gutter is rolled on site from a coil, in one piece the full length of the roofline. The only joins are at the inside and outside corners, which is where a sectional gutter leaks first.

Five-inch gutters suit most homes; six-inch for large or steep tile roofs that shed a storm all at once. OG is the flat-fronted profile on most homes; half-round suits a Spanish or craftsman elevation, of which Long Beach and Santa Ana have plenty. Downspouts go where the water should end up, not where it is easiest.
